April 24 - After reading and talking about the bible story of 'Jesus Feeds the Five Thousand' (Matthew 14:13 NIV) the children followed insrtictions to make tuna and sweet cone sandwiches. There was enough for the whole class and the teachers!

         

March 24 - The children helped to make pancakes before eating them after talking about the importance of Shrove Tuesday and Lent in the Christian calendar, leading up to Easter. It was a good chance to encourage the children how to use their knives and forks correctly.

    

February '24 Learning about how other cultures celebrate 

Feb 24 - Rev Fran came into the class to talk to the class about all the special things she does in the hurch and for the community. The children were all inspired and enjoyed trying on the stoles and looking at a chalice.

    

Dec 2023 - The class Nativity 'The Sleepy Shepherd' gave the children a great insight of the Christmas story.

Nov 23 - The children have been enjoying pairing and playing with the animals in the Noah's Ark. Noah is monitoring the weather carefully and representing changes on a daily weather chart.

  • Sept'22 - We harvested the carrots and potatoes we have grown. Teresa, the cook, used them to make our school dinner.

  • Tuesday 1st March 2022 Learning about Shrove Tuesday and the beginning of the Easter Story. The class placed their lent promises on the tree in the class Prayer Space.

  • Nov 21 The children have enjoyed accessing the Godly play and Prayer Space, within the continuous provision, looking for words in the bible. They also copied picture scenes in the bible using dolls.

  • Catbells are thinking about cleaning the Ocean's from plastic and the harm rubbish does to marine life. Earth Day 22nd April 2021
