June 24 - The class have enjoyed colour mixing with Sara the artist. They used powder paints to mix secondary and tertiary colours.

May 25 - Designing and making boats has been a really inspiring project for the children. As well as finding out about all sorts of different boats, the children sent in photos from home of their family boating experiences. They experimented to see which materials were waterproof and which would float and sink before designing and making their own boats to float on the stream.

"My boat has flowers so it looks pretty, it will smell good too!"

"My dingy has wooden oars! It has a propeller to make it go fast too!"

"The cars can go inside my ferry!"

March 24 - The children have had fun mark making with tractors and then cutting and sticking pieces of felt to make different farm animals for the class display. They took inspiration from the story of 'What the Ladybird Heard'.
