The children had an exciting afternoon with Shap Fire Crew. They learned what an important job they have helping people and saving lives. They were shown equipment including, oxygen tanks, thermal imaging camera, hoses, protective clothing, helmets and cutting tools. It was great to hear the sirens and see the lights flashing like they would if there was a real emergency.
